Welcome to another year of the roundup, Seek Designs!

 I have been eager and anticipating Ric Rac Roundup summer 2012! Lost & Found Jewelry has some new lasercut creations in bamboo that are unique for the Kansas City community including new scallop-shaped 816 patterned button earrings! I am also looking forward to this summer's ric rac roundup being a great success with less heat!! Thank you to Bon Bon Atelier for all the previous successful Roundups, and I personally think they just keep getting better and better!

Ric Rac Roundup: Craftboy Workshop

Another repeat Ric Rac Rounduper: Craftboy Workshop...

 The Craftboy Workshop will be returning to the Ric Rac Roundup with more bookish stuff -- letterpress-printed notecards and lots of hand-bound journals. Chuck Harper (The Craftboy) likes working with vintage and recycled materials such as Readers Digest Condensed Book journals featuring a Secret Belgian binding or thrift-store leather jackets turned into Moleskine-like notebooks.

Ric Rac Roundup: Owl and Mouse Textile Designs

Owl and Mouse is back at Ric Rac! I don't know where I would be without them..they were one of my biggest Christmas present suppliers last year! If you are looking for presents, definitely stop by their booth!

Ric Rac Roundup: Ampersand Design Studio

Ampersand Design Studio is another newbie to the Ric Rac Roundup. We've loved their work for years, so we are super excited that they are joining us!

Carrie Kiefer & Morgan Georgie are long-time colleagues and friends and the owners of Ampersand Design Studio: the blog, store and award-winning surface pattern and graphic design duo. Their shared design aesthetic—fresh, innovative, and energized by shots of surprising color—infuses everything they do.

Carrie & Morgan's mission is always to create looks and lives that are creative, harmonious and happy. " This is our first year to join the amazing line-up at Ric Rac and we couldn't be more excited!! We'll be selling melamine platters and art prints for kiddos and adults, and we'll have plenty of our popular screen-printed neon ampersand prints!! Stop by and say hi :)

Ric Rac Roundup: For Strange Women

We are excited to welcome For Strange Women to the Ric Rac Roundup for their first year!

I will be at Ric Rac with my natural perfume line, For Strange Women. I hope not to scare away the boys because I also have a unisex cologne line. I am delighted to be participating in the Roundup for the first time, alongside many of my favorite local artisans, including Scarlett Garnet (the only jewelry I wear) and the printer of my letterpress packaging, Two Tone Press.

Ric Rac: Sara Cramer

We asked the vendors of this year's Ric Rac to let us in on what they are working on for this summer. As the month goes by you'll get sneak peeks of what is to come at the fair!

Sara Cramer’s handmade jewelry collection uses square glass beads, putting a modern twist on a traditional fiber process. For the Ric Rac Roundup craft fair, Sara focuses on creating bright color combinations for summer, while putting an emphasis on bold, elegant, and classy styles.
