Ric Rac Roundup: Dirty Laundry

Dirty Laundry has been a long time Ric Rac Roundup (and bon bon atelier!) supporter. What would we do without her??

Jeanee is the mastermind behind Dirty Laundry cupcake bath fizzies.

Cupcake bath fizzies are bath bombs handmade in realistic mini cupcakes for your bath or foot soak.

Each year Jeanee brings something new to Ric Rac. This year she has a list of new scents:
• pink pepperberry - the scent of 2012
• honey bee
• green tea lavender
• black raspberry vanilla
• cranberry apple marmalade

In addition, Jeanee will be debuting her new shea mini meringue hand soap!

You'll surely to be able to find a confectionery bath product to make you, or someone else sweet!

Ric Rac Roundup: Tag Team Tompkins

We are so excited to welcome Tag Team Tompkins to the Ric Rac Roundup family! You are going to love their work...

Take two book lovers, season them with graphic design careers and a strong desire to travel.  Stir up these ingredients and you have Tag Team Tompkins, a mother/daughter team creating art that honors literary wit and wisdom.

We collaborate on mixed media projects such as our hand lettered  and cut paper original work.  We then translate our favorite pieces into letterpress art prints - printed by Bob Atkins, owner of Skylab Letterpress.

Our frequent travels to Japan let us find new tools and materials, and lend us surprising perspectives on our art.  Those long plane trips ensure plenty of time to read and imagine new work.

We're very happy to be first-time participants at Ric Rac Roundup - seeing old friends and making new ones.

Ric Rac: Judy Boyer Finnegan

Judy has been in Ric Rac since the very first show, she is a RRR alumni! Originally she just did ceramics, but recently she's been working with linoleum prints. This year will be a nice variety of both.

"I have my tea bag dishes this year and my incense burners again. I will have some wheel thrown items as well this year, tumblers, bowls, etc.. New glazes include a bright Sunset Red and Sea Spray. Linoleum prints: portraits, chickens, cats and dogs."

Ric Rac Roundup: Benandi

Can't wait to see you at the roundup, Benandi!

Hey Ric Rac Roundupers this is Sandi aka Benandi (oh boy, excuse that that rhymed) and I couldn't be more excited to see you this year at the Summer Ric Rac Roundup. It's going to be amazing! There are so many talented handmade artists that you'll be wowed! In years past I have offered a variety of plush critters and I will still have a handful available. But this year I'm super excited to announce that I've ventured into jewelry and accessories (magnets, brooches, pendants, etc.)  and are cutting my designs via laser. I'll also be offering up a a handful of my illustrative prints and stickers. I hope to see you there and make sure to come by and say hello!  I'd love to meet you. :) xo sandi

Ric Rac Roundup: Craftboy Workshop

Another repeat Ric Rac Rounduper: Craftboy Workshop...

The Craftboy Workshop will be returning to the Ric Rac Roundup with more bookish stuff -- letterpress-printed notecards and lots of hand-bound journals. Chuck Harper (The Craftboy) likes working with vintage and recycled materials such as Readers Digest Condensed Book journals featuring a Secret Belgian binding or thrift-store leather jackets turned into Moleskine-like notebooks.
